Zion I - Antenna

Life is a crazy concept when you think about it. Sometimes I feel that it's even crazier that I'm able to think about how crazy life is. It's easy to see how contemplating about contemplation can end in an infinite loop of confusion. What's even more confusing is how to figure out what is actually going on with our human existence and purpose. Where are the answers? What are the proper questions to even ask? WHO DO WE ASK??

Well Zion I, a hip hop group out of Oakland, California, share their wrestling with such questions in their song "Antenna." Amp Live (The DJ of the duo) crafts a beautiful melody which Zumbi uses as the backdrop for his conversation with The One whom he believes can talk to about his current earthly situation.

"Every breath is a prayer..." Begins this conversation in which Zumbi addresses interactions with friends and enemies, the state of sin and pain we are in, and ultimately his plea for loving direction throughout his every day living.
